Hope For Hearts’ 2012 Autumn Fundraiser

Please join us in support of all those affected by Hurricane Sandy and its aftermath. Hope For Hearts, a non-profit foundation dedicated to helping heart transplant patients, will double their efforts to raise money for heart patients in need – while giving back to the community to make sure New Yorkers bounce back from the devastation Hurricane Sandy left behind. The Hope for Hearts Foundation is pledging a portion of all ticket sales to the local American Red Cross hurricane relief fund. So, please come out to give back and help us rebuild our community in its greatest time of need.
The 1st Annual Hope For Hearts Autumn Fundraiser is scheduled for Friday, November 9th at Porsche Design at 465 W. Broadway in New York’s SoHo district. The Gala will be attended by leaders representing a wide variety of industries and communities, in both the private and public sector. Join co-hosts Veronica De La Cruz and political blogger/comedian Dean Obeidallah at SoHo’s Porsche Design to support the Eric De La Cruz Hope For Hearts Foundation’s work helping heart transplant candidates, patients and families as they face the overwhelming emotional and financial challenges of getting a second chance at life. Our First Annual Autumn Gala will feature music from opera singer Alyson Cambridge & world music artist Jose Conde, flamenco and salsa dancing by Zyriab, a keynote address from noted healthcare advocate Wendell Potter, speeches from Hope for Hearts fundraising & heart transplant recipient Colby Salerno, Veronica De La Cruz, as well as stand-up comedy by Dean Obeidallah. All of this to be paired with a night of Latin food by celebrity chef Todd English, the West Village restaurant “August” of the Marcus Samuelsson Group, and New York restaurant Mercadito; along with Latin music and dancing to make it a memorable evening.
Tickets For The 2012 Funrdaiser Are On Sale NOW.
You are now able to purchase VIP Tickets (which include a seat at a table) for a $250 donation, or General Admission Tickets (standing cocktail tables) for a $175 donation. Ticket purchases are tax-deductible and all tickets include drinks, buffet, entertainment, keynote address and access to the after-party. You may also purchase an entire VIP Table at the Gala for a donation of $7,500, entitling you to 10 guest tickets and reserved seating.

About The Eric De La Cruz Hope For Hearts Foundation
The Eric De La Cruz Hope for Hearts Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides financial assistance, educational resources and advocacy for heart transplant patients. Founded by TV journalist Veronica De La Cruz in honor of her brother Eric, the Foundation exists to fulfill his wish that no heart transplant patient would ever again have to suffer because of a lack of insurance or the inability to pay for life-saving medical treatment.
